Let's Get Controversial!!!
Have you noticed how it’s usually the most controversial celebrities who happen to get all the love? People who make the loudest noise, especially not for good things, are usually the ones who seem to get all the love and attention, and they’re able to translate that into cash, streams, and sales, depending on what it is they are a celebrity for.
These days, we have celebrities leak their sex tapes and after a few weeks of backlash, they only come back stronger with even more followers and a boost in their earnings. You’d have celebrities who will be rude to their fans, the ones who will deliberately attack people, doing a lot of things that if normal people did, they would be eaten alive. But with celebrities, it’s a bit different. It seems that when they do these things, they do better financially.
Does this have to do with the idea that “even bad publicity is still publicity”? Because it seems that more and more people are choosing to go the route of bad publicity. Maybe this is because bad publicity is more instantaneous. You get the results quicker than when you go through the “good” route.
After all, who talks about the less controversial celebrities? People don’t really care when you live your life the exact way you should. No one cares when you dress appropriately, no one cares that your music lyrics educate the public or your content speaks out against the mistreatment of the masses. No one cares about all that. But the minute you start to sexualize everything you do, you see a boom in sales! The minute you come online to badmouth a colleague or gender, your followers skyrocket. The moment you do something you’re “not supposed to do”, you get rewarded for it.
What does this all mean? Should we all follow this route if we’re trying to make ways for ourselves? Should we also dress in ways that show off our bodies even though we’re not comfortable with it? If not, how do we make it from scratch? And then, as artists, if we’re not singing about the flashy life, girls and haters, are we really going to make it in the industry?
Somehow though, I can’t blame the celebrities and creators, I can only blame the fans. Because the fans are the consumers of this content and they are the market. It’s what they want that will be made. Whether you like it or not, people like bad news about others. That’s why slanderous gossip always spreads like wildfire while charitable acts get buried in the sand. And when such things happen, the celebrities are suddenly in the news and blogs again, you then remember that they make quite good music and skits, so you go check them out. The algorithm suggests more to you and everyone else and all this translates into more money for them!
However, this is not how it works all the time. There are moments when a celebrity will go too far on the controversy and kill their career. Sometimes they’ll piss the wrong people off and get buried in lawsuits. It happens all the time. But then, those who have studied and mastered this game of bad publicity, have been excelling at it. And they will keep excelling at it.
And the sad thing, more upcoming creators look at them and see that as the fast and sure way to gain celebrity status. You’re either flashing an expensive lifestyle, or you’re flashing cleavages, things that are irrelevant to the content you create. But sadly, it all works, so I don’t think we’ll be seeing a decline in this particular way of life.
Of course, not every celebrity operates this way. There are those who stand out completely for their talents alone, but they’re ridiculously few compared to those who rely on controversies to stay relevant. Well, this is the world we live in, add in a little controversy and business will boom!

It is really sad to know that celebrities are leaking their sex tapes and doing all sorts of things just because they need to maintain their fame
It is really sad
And no one is saying anything about it, lol
No one is saying anything. If you try that, you could get serious backlash!😂
Everyone is just crazy joor!
It is a fact that if you want to be famous, you have to do all these dirty acts, otherwise the fame will disappear and someone else will take your place, so all these actors are such things. They keep doing it so that they stay in the news and keep their popularity going like this and it's very wrong move, they all do it to make money.

Good job on this controversial post
I think what the fans are drawn to most of the time is the confidence those celebrities bring to the table. Confidence is attract and can be contagious.
If someone can so something, good or bad and be confident and audacious about it, then people will be attracted to that person.
