I know some people who keep a separate phone on hand just for their MFA stuff. I don't go quite that far myself, but I can see the reason why they do it. I'm glad you were able to get this back to normal. Plus, it prompted you to do something you needed to get done anyway!

yeah, several people I know do some sort of autobackup but they have to pay for it... something crazy like $5 a month. I'm not gonna do that.
We have Amazon Prime, so all of our photos get backed up to that automatically, but we also have Google Pixel phones, so our photos get backed up to our Google account as well. So technically we do pay for it, but it's kind of an added benefit along with all the other stuff we get.
