Definitely an interesting way to look at it. I actually feel like in several years libraries will be a thing of the past. It used to be that it as fun to go there and that is where you go all your information. Even a bit later that's where you went to use a computer if you didn't have one at home. Now we all have them in our pockets, and encyclopedia's worth of information at our fingertips. Even historic documents are getting digitized now and stored in the cloud, so even that use case isn't as necessary. I can tell you the library outside my office in the HS/MS gets far less use now than it did 5 to 10 years ago. It's pretty rare to see kids in there these days.
