ARTIFFICIALL? OF COURSE. INTELLIGENCE? NOT REALLY.
I had some fun putting some posts I came across today through the AI options here on PEAKD. I let the AI analyze some of my posts as well. I read recaps, poetic reflections, and a bit of everything. I was only reading what the artificial intelligence has regurgitated, but it felt like listening - listening to a moron. The AI writing can be funny or boring on a good day and very irritating if you have a bad one. The fascinating thing is that I knew and still know quite a few people who don't sound any better.

... well, that artwork has nothing to do with the theme of the post. Not directly, at least. It's just a fairly old illustration I created a few years ago with some vague thoughts about tech and SyFy stuff in mind. It doesn't illustrate anything specific but probably it doesn't look too out of place here. To add a bit of dynamic to this pretty uninspired post, I animated the artwork and made an animated GIF out of it.

Now, I don't wanna this to be misunderstood as a serious critique or antagonism toward the inclusion of the AI option in PEAKD. As I said at the start of the post, I HAD SOME FUN WITH IT - but I just had to say that it felt like reading or listening to someone who is not only a moron but a bit of a douchebag as well. Again, not unlike quite a few living, breathing people I know.
AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE ARTWORK IS IN ALL OF ITS SEGMENTS MY WORK.

Yes. It's still primitive. 😃 But already has an obnoxious personality.
I feel you man, I do agree for me it's emotionless to make a story or arts using AI. I still prefer human with natural talents using their own brain.
Yes. To me, it looks like there is more fun in creating stuff through AI than reading the stuff created through AI.
I use very less and didn't know there is an AI option in it.. I'll check how it is! I never used a motion picture. Let's see if peakd can help me with it.😀

It's a fun option. 😀 I noticed it a few weeks ago, but I tried it only this morning.
I don't know how peoples used this and create images. But I think at some places where You want to give your idea, it works great.

If you open a post in PeakD there are two options in the upper right corner. "LISTEN" and "AI" The AI then has quite a few more options to explore. It's fun.
I haven't checked on the AI stuff on Peakd yet. The digital arts look cool.
Yes. AI images are definitely more interesting than the text. Much, much ... muchmuchmuchmuch more interesting 😃 Extremely more interesting to me.

Interesting artwork there mate. What was the inspiration? Is that kinda like nature powered by a human? or a representation of AI taking control of the natural environment? Now I'm just rambling lmao.
That's OK. 😀 I mean, rambling. Art is a rambling-inducing thing par excellence! The artwork isn't a product of some specific, focused idea, so any kind of rambling fits the interpretation quite well. I don't remember what my thought process was back when I created the thing, but it must have been something like: " Let's draw some geometric stuff that can be associated with contemporary or futuristic technology, and then let's put something natural in the picture as well. Yeah, let's do it that way. Contrasts are cool."

I must admit that I gave up on this entertainment, the AI steals my ideas, replacing them with their own. I played this game several times with my iron brains and realized that our paths diverged in different directions. I prefer the art that I see in your photographs. I caught your connection with nature in the drawing on the emblem :)

I hope you would try something more drastic with AI. I wanna know the result. Could you get AI to transform your work into completely abstract form? Is the new work belong to you or AI?!
Yes, it can turn everything into an abstraction easily, I guess. But I wasn't talking about visual art AI, I was trying the AI that writes all kinds of things. The artwork in the post isn't AI. It's something I drew in Adobe Illustrator. The visual AI is definitively more fun... but not very interesting in my opinion ... it regurgitates art styles of various periods and authors. Doing stuff in it is a type of fun more comparable to playing a video game than to creating art. It's like being a great musician playing that Guitar Hero game or what is called that famous thing.
Hmmm! I'm not sure what to say about this post, other than the whole "AI thing" seems to be a very contraversial topic on PeakD. My own thoughts are that "AI" can be helpful in some cases, but harmful in other ways. It's early days for AI I guess and who knows where it will go in the future! !VSC !LOLZ !ALIVE

@borjan please what app did you use to animate your artwork?
I did it in the video editor. Adobe Premiere Pro 2020. I prepared each frame in Adobe Illustrator where the thing was created. Then I made some changes in Photoshop. And then finally I assembled the frames in Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 and exported the thing as an Animated GIF.

I've used the option to listen to posts using PeakD, but I don't use PeakD much, I'm mainly on Ecency.
I didn't know it could recap posts now. I think I'll give it a go and see what drivel it comes up with.
I've noticed that people comment on my posts occasionally with a completely wrong assessment, I'm wondering if that's AI throwing them under the bus lol
I use the option to listen quite often. Before it was available here, I used to listen from Google Translate. I can prepare the photographs for future posts or work on digital artworks while listening so I read very rarely. The AI options for recaps, analysis, and such can maybe be useful to someone and can be surely funny sometimes. I don't claim that stuff is objectively bad or something ... some of that stuff just sounded like some extremely boring people and various douchebags I knew and know in real life, that's the only real point of the post and wasn't meant to be completely accurate or serious. Just a superficial, very personal remark with maybe a bit of truth in it. In general, Im definitely not fascinated or amazed by that AI stuff as it currently is but maybe one day I will be. The thing I am fascinated and amazed with is how some people succeed in being bland and boring like the AI and simultaneously proud and full of their own shit like they are presenting something amazing.
You could be right about those completely wrong assessments 😀Tell me if you find the time what you discovered while playing with the AI, I won't touch it in the next ... I don't know, a month or so.
I was going through some of the options with the AI recaps on some of my own posts, and to be fair, they're kind of accurate. There's even some funny options like asking it to create a poetic recap in the form of verses. They were kind of cringe, but a bit of fun.
Yeah. This stuff is OK for what it is. Accurate yes, but only if the text is one-dimensional with no hidden gems or any kind of irony. Which is OK, that's something too. AI sounds exactly how I would have imagined AI to sound. And that's pretty unimpressive. The crazy thing to me is when a living, breathing person regularly sounds and thinks that way. And I meet those AI-like folks from time to time.
