Is it crazy to take crazy ideas seriously?

I rarely quote people at length but the following text by Tzvi Lauren which he had posted on Facebook is just brilliantly worded and logically impeccable.

Hitler wrote Mein Kampf from prison in 1925.
In 1928, the Nazi party won 2.6% of the vote, which gave them 12 seats...their worst election performance ever.
If I came to you in 1929 and told you that the guy who heads the Nazi party wrote that book...and he wants to kill all 18 million Jews on planet earth...you'd FOR SURE call me a "conspiracy theorist".
You would say that i'm ascribing too much power to some weirdo and his band of weirdos.
You would advise me to stop obsessing over him and to focus on my own life.
In 1930, when his party gets 18% of the vote, you'd still tell me the same...as many "crazy" Jews were told...the ones to tried to warn their family and friends.
In 1932, with 37% of the vote...you'd still shrug me off.
In 1933, with 44%....i'd still be the crazy one.
In 1934, the "weirdo" becomes Fuhrer.
IF you were to wake up---and it's a big if---it would take you a total of 5 years to do so.
Now think of all the people who didn't wake up...who were still calling their friends and relatives crazy in 1936 and even later.
When someone writes a book, read it and believe them...even if their ideas are crazy.
When someone talks, listen and believe them.
The only reason you could believe that today, 6 million people could be systematically and methodically killed in a short period of time, is because it already happened.
You already have "proof of concept".
If someone told you it would happen prior to it happening, you wouldn't believe them.
How do I know this?
There are people today, giving TED talks and writing books about their ideas...mainly regarding the global population.
These same people set the agenda for administering you know what.
They don't hold office in any land, but have more power than you can imagine.
One of them owns the largest amount of farmland in America.
If I come to you and tell you that their goal is not to "take care of" 18 million but 7 BILLION, by way of fear, manipulation and coercion (via passports, internment camps, lockdowns, shutting people out of society) you FOR SURE would not believe me.
You'd also get offended if I dared to make a comparison to the previously mentioned catastrophe. (as many already have)
The only way you'd believe me, is if G-d forbid, it happens.
But by then, it would be too late.
As with the previous catastrophe, the perpetrators would succeed partially. But in this case, partial success is still an astronomically high number.

I really have nothing to add in terms of substantive content. Adolf Hitler I imagine needs no introductions. But, you may ask who are those people "giving TED talks and writing books about their ideas...mainly regarding the global population"? Who is that mysterious person who "owns the largest amount of farmland in America"?

That would be Bill Gates - yes, the same Bill Gates of the Microsoft fame. He also mentions vaccines as a potential tool that could be used to reduce the world's population which in his opinion had reached unsustainable levels as he stated in his 2010 TED talk. Various mainstream media sources acknowledge that he did indeed made the statement in question, specifically saying, "The world today has 6.8 billion people. That's headed up to about 9 billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent." These sources tend to opine that those who attribute intent to use vaccines as a direct tool of population control are taking Gates out of context. They believe that reference to vaccines is strictly in the context of improving the poor populations' living conditions and thus encouraging lower birth rates and that was that. Mr Gates in still very much alive and active and could easily clarify the matter. To the best of my knowledge, he has not done so as of the time of this writing.

Who are the people advocating for other drastic measures such as the so-called "great reset" - a drastic draw-down of economic activities? Who are those pushing for a global regime of surveillance, property rights and personal freedom reduction - in the name of sustainability, of course? They are many, but let's just mention one person and one organisation: Klaus Schwab and the organization he leads, the World Economic Forum. And yes, the Great Reset as described above is an official initiative of that organisation.

So think what you must but, crazy as it may sound, there are powerful people out there contemplating ideas, that you may call crazy, as delineated above by Lauren. Whether they are serious about them, whether they have means, or true will, to put them in practice - as usual, I encourage you to do your own research and come to your own conclusions. But I fully agree with Lauren that this is the sort of phenomena one ignores at one's own peril.

Well, the course of how Hitler became a Fuhrer should be analyzed very well. It looks like that of Putin today.

Oh, yeah, there are plenty of similarities.

The focus here is, when you hear someone - especially somebody powerful - voice some crazy idea, you may want to pay attention, no matter how crazy the idea may be.
