Starliner Pad Abort Test for NASA [Live: 04.11.2019, 14:00 UTC]

Be aware, this is rocket surgery.

Small disturbances can lead to postponed launches. Making sure everything is just right is way cheaper than risking big fireworks.

This will be the pad abort test for the Boeing built crew capsule Starliner.

This capsule is similar to SpaceX's Dragon 2 designed to ferry astronauts to the ISS under the Commercial Crew Program.

The Dragon 2 suffered an explosion during a similar pad abort test earlier this year.

The test window lasts 3 hours.

Where to watch:

When: 14:00 UTC, 2nd November 2019.

Check your local time at:

The birthing of the Cygnus spacecraft to the ISS will be covered on the same channels 5 hours earlier.
