The Blue Lagoon and the nearby power plant has been closed down. The city of Grindavik has been evacuated as earthquakes have already damaged buildings and roads.

Icelandic Town Awaits Eruption and Possible Scenarios Discussed by Geologist

As per Prof. Willsey, there are 4 possible eruption scenarios:

below the ocean, close to the Grindavik. Might be the best option for the town
in the area of the city. Might be worst case because it would destroy the city and the harbor
further up, next to the Blue Lagoon and the power plant. Destruction depends on lava flow. It could destroy all three locations or pass them by.
