DEALING WITH MENSTRUAL CRAMPS

avatar

If you are a woman, you will agree with me that seeing this topic is not something strange for you. Menstral Cramps have been something that has been bothering a lot of females out there and in fact some have followed a lot of suspense advice in order just for them to overcame that pain that always come. This time of the month which is month ending is always difficult and never fun for a lot of females. Growing up when I am still staying with my sister, I can feel the amount of pain she always feel during her cramps and I must say it is not always easy. In fact there was a particular day, I felt like crying for her seeing her bearing the pain all alone by herself

There are a handful of more unpleasant period symptoms that follows during this period which ranging from food cravings, difficulty sleeping, bloating, mood swings (typically anger), exhaustion, sensitive breasts, and many others. If you are a female, you will understand with me that these are all warning indications that your period is about to start. The majority of these symptoms begin before your period even begins. For most women, this is the worst part of the month. In fact whenever the month is drawing to those time and date, a lot of ladies always wish it can just be skipped.

The cramps are another factor. For a long time I have been hearing about cramps but I always wondered what actually causes those cramps. I discovered after many years and with research been done on it that they are caused by the contraction of blood vessels and muscles in order to shed its lining. This leads to cramping been felt in the abdomen and lower back. The level of pain from cramps can feel different for different women. Some experience severe pain, while others only mild discomfort. Some women feel pain than the other during their menstral period. To some, they don't even feel that pain at all or even much and to some it is always unbearable for them to handle.

Even though menstrual cramps can not exactly be stopped , except using the birth control method. Regardless, it can be reduced and managed and some five methods are discussed bellow. I believe a lot of questions poping up among ladies who always experience the menstral cramps with several pain is how can it be stopped. Like I said, menstral cramps is something with nature and genetic as females gender. It can't really be stopped but it actually be controlled and there is a way the pain can be reduced.

The first one I have come to discover is using heat. For many of us who did not know, heat helps to relax tense muscles and can provide pain relief. Great ways to relax include taking a hot bath or using weighted heating pads. This can really go a long way in helping than we can ever imagine. Try it and you will see it work wonders. Another way menstral cramps can be dealt with in the aspect of the pain reducing is through increased consumption of vitamins and minerals. Consuming a balanced diet may be yet another strategy to alleviate period pain, as several vitamins and minerals may aid to ease cramping. Eating whole grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes, such as beans, lentils, and chickpeas, avocado, spinach, cauliflower, kale, orange, and asparagus are all good choices

There are some Consumption like sugary stuff if you want to be helped during your menstral cramps. Too much of sugary consumption can actually increase the pain more than you expect. Though a lot of women use this but this is temporary and last for a short moment and that is using pain relievers. Over-the-counter analgesics like ibuprofen, naproxen, and aspirin may lessen your discomfort.

Another way menstral cramps can be dealt with is also through Exercise. Exercise is an excellent technique to relieve stress because it triggers the body's production of endorphins, which suppress the sense of pain. The putting of the body muscles to proper shape can go a long way in helping the body system and during menstral period can help reduces the pain. Others ways you can deal with Menstral cramps is also through hormonal birth control.
Hormones found in oral birth control pills stop ovulation and lessen the severity of menstrual cramps. A flexible ring that you insert into your vagina, an injection, a skin patch, an implant under your arm's skin, an intrauterine device (IUD), or another method can all be used to provide these hormones. This method should only be used by women who do not intend to get pregnant.

Lastly and which is similar to acupuncture, acupressure uses light pressure on the skin rather than needles to stimulate specific areas on the body. Acupressure appears to be more helpful than a placebo in relieving menstrual cramps, despite the paucity of studies on the topic. The methods discussed vary in their efficacy with different individuals and so some of them may not for you , but these solutions are based on popular choices methods and so there's no harm in giving them a trial .

At the end of the day, you will agree with me that though menstral cramps can not be stopped but the pain can be regulated if some things can be put in place. I hope this post have been able to help to a great extent in exposing you to that

It's great to read about issues women face that are rarely talked about. As someone who has dealt with severe cramps, I have found a few things that helped in addition to the ones you mentioned. Cutting gluten, dairy, sugar and processed food from my diet significantly reduced my pain levels as it cut down on the inflammation in my body. Using a mix of saffron, garlic, black pepper and ginger brewed in a tea also helped curb the pain. Understanding the hormonal cycle and how it relates to your menstrual cycle and adjusting your exercise and eating based on each phase can also assist. Hope this helped.
