What I did want to show you was an approach to what an ideal post for the contest would look like! There's a fine line between a tourism or visit post and one that conveys the idea of ​​what an ecosystem REALLY IS, and it's not easy since not everyone is a biologist, but I hope this post inspires you. Hola amigos, decidi hacer mi entrada para el mes de febrero y en mi caso escogi el (ecosistema ribereno), pero no te preocupes! nunca participo en los premios, lo que si queria mostrarles un enfoque de como seria un post ideal para el concurso! existe una linea delgada entre un post de turismo o visita y otro sobre un post que trasmite la idea de lo que REALMENTE ES UN ECOSISTEMA, y no es facil ya que no todos son Biologos, pero espero que este post te inspire. The first step in studying an ecosystem is to seek inspiration, starting by researching the environments near your area. In my case, as a biologist, I know ecological topics very well, so I was quite knowledgeable about what a riparian ecosystem means, and I chose it because it's one of my favorites and because Portugal has many rivers, which is key for this environment to develop. My last video on the Vinhas Trail in the Cascais area helped me focus and know exactly what to look for.🚩🌏
El primer paso para un estudio de un ecosistema es buscar inspiracion, comenzar investigando un poco los ambientes que hay cerca de tu zona, en mi caso como soy Biologo conozco demasiado bien los topicos Ecologicos por ello estaba bastante instruido sobre que significa un ecosistema ribereno, y lo escogi porque es de mis favoritos y porque Portugal tiene muchos rios lo que es un punto clave para que se desarrolle este ambiente; Mi ultimo video en el sendero de las Vinhas en la zona de Cascais, me sirvio para enforcarme y saber que buscar exactamente.🏔️🧭

The area I am studying is the Jamor river system, a large part of which is located in the "Felicio Loureiro" park in the parish of Queluz, Lisbon! I took a walk along the river to photograph and study the "behavior" of the ecosystem and how it influences this area and, in turn, its interaction with biodiversity.🌏🚩
El local que estudio es el sistema ribereno de Jamor, que una gran parte de el se ubica en el parque: "Felicio Loureiro" en la freguesia de Queluz, Lisboa! realice una caminata al lado del rio para ir fotografiando y estudiando el "comportamiento" del ecosistema y como influye dentro esta esta zona y a su vez la interaccion con la biodiversidad🌄🗺️

Entonces definimos un ecosistema ribereno, como todo aquel que se desarrolla en las riberas de los cuerpos de agua tal como rios y lagunas, y que a su vez son estrictamente de agua dulce, como ejemplo colocamos el rio Jamor que irriga una gran parte de la ciudad de Queluz, este Rio que hace posible la existencia del ecosistema nace en la sierra de sintra "Carregueira" y tiene una extension de 15.8km! Que pasaria si quitaramos el Rio al ecosistema? simplemente no tendriamos una ribera y por el contrario nos quedaria un tipo de bosque, Por tanto en el momento que el hombre destruya el Rio desaparecia de forma IRREVERSIBLE este hermoso ecosistema.🚩🌏

For example, the Jamor River irrigates a large part of the city of Queluz. This river, which makes the ecosystem possible, originates in the Sintra mountain range, specifically in the Carregueira region, and extends for 15.8 km.   • Riparian ecosystems have several crucial roles within the ecology of an area, in this case in the surroundings of the Jamor River. They prevent the surrounding area from flooding, thus avoiding flooding through the filtration of abundant vegetation, and they represent a place for rainwater to overflow📍

  • The riverbanks are responsible for a pre-filtration of pollutants and sediments before they enter the river.📍

  • Being located around a river allows for biological movement and migration, enabling living beings to move and thus increasing genetic variation.📍

  • They have an abundant biological load and biomass more than any other ecosystem due to the abundance of resources that water can provide and the river current always allows biological circulation.📍

  • Los ecosistemas riberenos tienen varios roles cruciales dentro de la ecologia de una zona en este caso en los alrededores del Rio Jamor, permiten que la zona aledana no se inunde por tanto previenen indundaciones por la filtracion de la abundante vegetacion y representa un local para desbordar el agua de las lluvias📍

  • Las riberas se encargan de una pre-filtracion de agentes contaminantes, sedimentos antes de entrar al rio📍

  • Debido al estar alrededor de un rio permite el movimiento y migracion biologico haciendo que los seres vivos se puedan desplazar y por tanto aumentar la variacion genetica.📍

  • Presentan una abundante carga biologica y biomasa mas que cualquier otro ecosistema por la abundancia de recursos que el agua puede proporcionar y la corriente del rio permite siempre una circulacion biologica.📍

The plant and fungal kingdoms have so many interesting aspects and interact with each other, acting as producers and decomposers of animal species that need both to complete their life cycle. A river would be just a river without surrounding vegetation; all of these elements together create the riverbank! I'm not an expert botanist, so I might not identify the plants correctly; however, we can see some that are typical of the Iberian Peninsula, others that are introduced but quite common in the Sintra area of ​​Portugal.🌻🚩
El reino vegetal y el Fungi tienen tantas cosas interesantes e interactuan entre si para luego ser productores y descomponedores de especies de animales quienes necesitan ambos para poder completar su ciclo de vida, y el rio seria un simple rio si no hay vegetacion a su alrededor, todo en conjunto crean la ribera! no soy un botanico experto asi que puede que no identifique de forma correcta las plantas sin embargo, podemos ver algunas de ellas tipica de la peninsula iberica, otras introducidas, pero que en Portugal en la zona de Sintra son bastante comunes.🌊🌊

Because there is construction along the riverbank, this causes a negative impact on the river's ecology, since the presence of people always displaces "sensitive" species. We call any living organism that requires very specific parameters to inhabit an area and has a low level of tolerance to adapt to new environments "sensitive"; to such an extent that we could say that the ecology of the Jamor River is "mixed".🌺🌻
Debido a que hay construccion al lado de la ribera esto hace que se cause un impacto negativo en la ecologia del Rio, ya que la presencia de personas desplazan siempre a las especies "sensibles" llamamos sensibles a cualquier organismo vivo que requiere parametros muy especificos para habitar una zona y tiene un bajo nivel de toleracion a adaptarse a medios nuevos; hasta tal punto que podriamos decir que la ecologia del rio Jamor, es "mixta".👨🏻‍🏫🌼

Photographing wildlife is a more difficult task because, unlike plants, animals move around. Something that caught my attention was seeing many birds flying over the river, and some of them have an insectivorous diet. In fact, all birds need to consume protein, even hummingbirds, and it is thanks to the plants and the river that insects can be here flying or crawling, looking for resources to feed on or complete their life cycles. If you remove insects from a riverbank, there will be no birds.🦢🦆
Fotografiar la fauna ya es una tarea mas dificil debido a que a diferencia de una planta los animales se desplazan, algo que capto mi atencion fue ver muchas aves volando sobre el rio y algunas de ellas tienen una dieta insectivora, en realidad todas las aves necesitan consumir proteinas hasta los colibris, y es es gracias a las plantas y el rio que los insectos pueden andar por aqui volando o arrastrandose buscando recursos para alimentarse o completar sus ciclos de vida; si retiras insectos de una ribera NO ABRAN AVES.🐸🦎

Some important aspects to consider about this beautiful ecosystem, which adorns our landscapes to such an extent that we can transform a city area into a small natural lung, allowing us to escape the chaos of concrete, breathe clean air, and relax to the sound of the river! Algunos aspecto importantes a tratar sobre este hermoso ecosistema y que decora nuestros paisajes a tal punto que podemos convertir una zona de ciudad en un pequeno pulmon natural, podemos perdernos entre el caos del concreto a respirar aire limpio y relajarnos con el sonido del rio! lo que podriamos concluir a que un sistema ribereno tambien trae cosas positivas para nuestra salud mental.🌏

  • Laws and legislation will always be the best way to maintain a protected ecosystem because non-compliance carries a penalty; therefore, the Sintra council must create laws to prevent the dumping of pollutants into the Jamor River.🦐

  • Planting endemic plants of the ecosystem is a good way to maintain the ecology of the ecosystem.🐙

  • Creating ecological campaigns in schools and teaching the importance of these ecosystems to young people is also a good alternative.🐟

  • Las leyes y legislaciones siempre sera la mejor manera de mantener un ecosistema protegido porque el incumplimiento aplica una sancion, por ello la camara de Sintra debe crear leyes para evitar lanzar agentes contaminantes en el rio Jamor🌲

  • crear campanas ecologicas en la escuela y ensenar la importancia de estos ecosistemas a los mas jovenes tambien es una buena alternativa.🌳

  • Sembrar plantas endemicas del ecosistema es una buena forma de mantener la ecologia del ecosistema.🌴

Wow! que hermoso, esta zona se parece a Caripe, la vegetación y áreas húmedas abundan en esta parte de la región oriental de Venezuela, la fauna y flora de del JAmor. es variada y hermosa, el río desciende de la montaña? esos puentes me recuerdan las visitas al municipio Montes, donde hay puentes colgantes.

Me parece una manera muy didáctica de presentar la publicación.
Como biólogo tiene las herramientas necesarias y, la publicación es muy completa.
En mi caso, como profesor de Geografía tengo algunos elementos que coinciden y otros que les he incorporado a largo de estos años de docencia y me han dado resultado, a la hora de estudiar un ecosistema, un accidente geográfico u otro tema de interés.
Pero, debo decir que de esta manera la publicación está más completa que como yo la he concebido.
