La naturaleza es muy extrana en lo que respecta a temas de adaptacion natural y evolucion!! podemos caminar en cualquier parte del mundo y toparnos con un animal muy extrano, algunos "feos", pero ser "diferente" seria el termino correcto ya que en el mundo animal no existe un estereotipo de belleza, da ventajas para competir con recursos. Bienvenidos el Miss Universo de los Feos 2026, tu vas a seleccionar cual es el participante mas feo en mi post!🌏🏞️

The animals I'm about to show you are all small, measuring between a few millimeters and a few centimeters. They are all macroscopic, meaning they are visible to the naked eye. This is the difference between them and microscopic organisms, which are invisible to us and require high magnification to see their details! The invisible or minuscule world dominates the Earth, and 90% of the animal population are insects. And although it may seem insignificant, these microbes have dominated the Earth for over 350 million years! It's incredible...👨🏻🏫👨🏻🏫
Los animales que te presento a continuacion son todos pequenos midiendo entre pocos milimetros a pocos centimetros, todos son macroscopicos esto quiere decir que son visibles al OJO humano, y es la diferencia con los organismos microscopicos que son invisible para nosotros, y requieren grandes aumentos para ver sus detalles! el mundo invisible o minusculo domina la tierra y es que el 90% de la poblacion de animales son insectos, y aunque nos parezca insignificante los microbichos dominan la tierra hace mas de 350millones de ano! una locura...🥼🥽
I strayed a bit from the contest rules; I was actually supposed to select only one bug, but I decided to hold a beauty pageant, but in this case, for the ugliest one, haha. Therefore, I will show you the most horrible side of nature: bugs that we see flying or walking around, but we don't have the ability to see the details. I will use my microscope and take photos using a macro view. The bugs cannot be analyzed with lenses higher than 40x because it would crush them.💀👹
Me sali un poco de las reglas del concurso en realidad tenia que seleccionar solo un bicho, pero decidi hacer un certamen de belleza pero en este caso del mas feo jajaj, por ello te mostrare el lado mas horrible de la naturaleza, bichos que nosotros los vemos volando o caminando por alli pero no tenemos la capacidad de ver los detalles, utilizare mi microscopio y realizare fotos utilizando una vista macro, los bichos no pueden ser analizados con las lentes superior a 40x porque los aplastaria📸👨🏻🏫.

Miss Venezuela was represented by the Cladocerans. If we think of arthropods, the first thing we associate with them is the land, but maintaining the planet's balance are these tiny organisms, just a few millimeters (3mm) long. We can see them swimming and suspended in lakes and ponds. They are sensitive and are used in laboratories to measure water quality, as they are not very tolerant of chemical changes in the water.🏞️
Miss Venezuela esta representaba por los Cladoceros, si pensamos en bichos artropodos lo primero que asociamos es a la tierra pero manteniendo el equilibrio del planeta estan estos pequenos organismos de pocos milimetros (3mm), los podemos ver nadando y suspendidos en lagos, estanques, son sensibles y se utilizan en laboratorios para medir la calidad del agua! ya que son poco tolerantes a cambios quimicos en el agua.🔬
Miss Venezuela brought her entire repertoire to win the contest, but it won't be easy. Cladocerans are great colonizers of aquatic environments because they have a rather peculiar reproduction method... They use "cloning," that's right... They are capable of cloning themselves and need nothing more than themselves to grow their population. And you know what's most incredible? See those black balls? They're eggs... These eggs are laid in the mud and can survive the worst environmental conditions until the rain comes and they hatch again... They are almost indestructible.🌏🥽
Miss Venezuela trajo todo su repertorio para ser el ganador del concurso pero no lo tendra facil, apesar que los Cladoceros son grandes colonizadores de medios actuaticos ya que tienen una reproduccion bastante peculiar... Utilizan la "clonacion", asi es... Son capaces de clonarse y no necesitan mas de que ellos mismos para crecer la poblacion, y sabes que es lo mas increible? ves esas bolas negras? son huevos... Esos huevos son colocados en el barro y pueden sobrevivir las peores condiciones ambientales hasta que llega la lluvia y salen de nuevo... Son casi indestructibles.👨🏻🏫📸
Second Miss Portugal contestant🔬🌏 / Segunda concursante Miss Portugal💀📸
Imagine walking along and seeing a dragonfly. You think, "Wow! What a beautiful insect!" But Miss Portugal hides many things that almost no one knows... Dragonflies need a body of water, usually stagnant water, to complete their life cycle and lay their eggs. Later, the nymphs emerge—a rather unpleasant, ugly, and voracious stage... That's right... These creatures are always hungry and are predators, feeding on anything that moves in the water.👹🥼
Imagina caminar por alli y ver una libelula, te dices guao! que bonito insecto!! pero Miss Portugal oculta muchas cosas que casi nadie sabe... Las libelulas para completar su ciclo de vida necesitan un cuerpo de agua normalmente agua estancada para poner sus huevos, posteriormente llegaran las Ninfas un estado bastante desagradable, feo y voraz... Asi es.... Estos bichos siempre tienen hambre y son depredadores alimentandose con todo lo que se mueva en el agua.👨🏻🏫🙇🏻♀️

Su cuerpo muda mas de 12 veces para ir creciendo hasta llegar a la fase adulta donde saldra del agua... se puede ver el ojo compuesto bastante desarrollado, patas articuladas y las piezas bucales que ya estan lista para atrapar a sus presas.🔬🥽

Miss Argentina is a true work of natural art, one of the ugliest things you'll ever see. It's called a whirlpool beetle, from the Gyrinidae family, and capturing it was an odyssey since they move in circles and quickly on the surface of the water. They have one of the strangest eyes in nature, literally "four eyes divided in two parts." Why? Easy: two to see outside and two to see inside the water... UFFFF!!!!💀👹
Miss Argentina es todo una obra de arte natural, de lo mas feo que podras ver, se llama (escarabajo torbellino) familia Gyrinidae y capturarlo fue una odisea ya que se mueven en circulos y rapidos en la superficie del agua, tienen uno de los ojos mas extrano de la naturaleza literal "cuatro ojos divididos en dos partes", por que? facil dos para ver fuera y dos para ver dentro del agua... To identify Miss Cuba, we would have to look at its paddle-shaped legs, as well as some hairs; these act like oars in the water, moving at high speed. It has large, well-developed compound eyes. These bugs have triangular mouthparts to feed on organic matter such as detritus, but they are also capable of capturing some larvae.📸🙇🏻♀️
Para identificar a Miss Cuba tendriamos que ver sus patas en forma de remo al igual observamos unos pelos, estos actuan como remos en el agua desplazandose a gran velocidad, ojos grandes compuestos y bien desarrollados, estos chinches tienen piezas bucales triangular para alimentarse de materia organica como detritus, pero son capaces de capturar algunas larvas.👨🏻🏫🔬

El rey depredador de las aguas, podria Angola ser el pais ganador? es feo suficiente? lo cierto es que estos animales, la forma de alimentarse es una locura!! con sus pinzas capturan una presa luego le inyectan enzimas que las descomponen y hace un licuado para luego succionarlo! son como tigres, emboscan desde la vegetacion sus presas! otro dato increible son tan voraces que las larvas grandes pueden capturar renacuajos, o pesces diminutos...🙇🏻♀️📸

The mosquito is the animal that causes the most deaths in the world, approximately 1,000,000 per year, and it seems so harmless yet ugly...very ugly! The mosquito larva has sensory hairs that help it detect predators or changes in the water. Its segmented body allows it to quickly escape threats by moving in a whip-like motion! El mosquito es el animal que mas muerte causa en el mundo, aproximadamente 1000000 al ano, y parece algo tan inofensivo pero feo...Muy feo!!! la larva de mosquito tiene pelos sensoriales que le sirven para detectar depredadores o cambios en el agua, su cuerpo segmentado permite escapar rapidamente de la amenzada moviendose en forma de latigo! lo que vemos transparente son tejidos que se iran a transformar en su fase adulta. Es Japon el bicho mas feo?👹🥽

They're creatures from the Gerridae family, animals as ugly as they are incredibly adaptable. They have thousands of hairs on their legs that trap air, allowing them to walk on water... That's right... They don't sink. Their antennae detect vibrations in the air or water. Their aerodynamic body allows them to move quickly. It's strange because they're predators, and do you know how they feed? They use the water like a spiderweb. When a creature falls in and gets trapped on the surface... they eat it!💀📸
Son bichos de la familia (Gerridae), un animal tan feo como super adaptativo, tiene miles de pelos en sus patas que atrapan aire lo que les permite caminar en el agua... Asi es... No se hunden.... Las antenas son para detectar vibraciones en el aire o en el agua, su cuerpo le permite ser aerodinamica y poder moverse con rapidez, es extrano porque son depredadores y sabes como se alimentan? usan el agua como tela de arana, cuando un bicho cae y se queda atrapado en la superficie... Qué dato tan curioso de saber, que el 90% de los animales son insectos Y que los microinsectos dominan el mundo hace más de 350 millones de años. Realmente muy interesante.
Los siete insectos tienen bien ganado el título del más feo, pero creo que el de Argentina y Miss Japón lideran el primer puesto.

Interesante post, pero algunos bichos no me parecen feos 😂, hasta les agarré cariño. Para mí Mis Venezuela es el más raro, he tenido la oportunidad de observar en el microscopio y es una experiencia genial, hiciste un gran trabajo capturando los detalles de estos insectos.
