A big hug to my travel and drone-loving friends. Today we're going to take flight in the mountains of the "Fte Telha" dunes. We've been around here before, doing some trails, but this is the first time I've been able to fly my Mavic around here. I was denied permission on the first attempt. Now, with ANAC approval, we're ready to show you the beauty that Portugal has to offer for a great vacation. If you're a fan of a very hot summer, you're in time. Today it was 43 degrees...uffff... I was even afraid the drone would fail because of the temperature, but the Atlantic breeze cooled the air a bit.🌄🧭

Un gran abrazo a mis amigos amantes de los viajes y drones, hoy vamos a levantar vuelo en las montañas de las dunas de "fte telha", anteriormente ya estuvimos por aquí haciendo algunos senderos, pero es primera vez que consigo pilotear mi mavic por aquí, ya que el permiso me lo habían denegado en el primer intento, pero ahora con la aprobación de la ANAC estamos listo para mostrarte las bellezas que tiene Portugal para ofrecerte en unas buenas vacaciones. Si eres amante de un verano muy caliente, estas a tiempo hoy hizo 43 grados...uffff... Tenía hasta miedo que el drone fallara por la temperatura, pero la brisa del atlántico refrescaba un poco el aire.📸🌍

As in all my adventures I leave you the coordinates so you can access the mountain that I show you in the drone video, anyone can pilot the drone here but you first need consent from the ANAC you can register your drone in the system and immediately request permission, normally you have two weeks until it is approved, so I recommend doing it many days in advance, stay above 30 meters because there are some houses around here and if you go over them the police can call you, however, the regulations indicate that "above 30 meters" you are within controlled airspace and your permit is sufficient.
Como en todas mis aventuras te dejo las coordenandas para que puedas acceder a la montana que te muestro en el video-drone, cualquier persona puede pilotear el drone aqui pero necesitas primero consentimiento de la ANAC puedes registrar tu drone en el sistema y de inmediato solicitar el permiso normalmente tienes dos semanas hasta ser aprobado por ello te recomiendo hacerlo con muchos días de antelación, mantente por encima de los 30 metros porque hay algunas casas por aquí y si pasas por encima de ellos pueden llamarte la policía, sin embargo, la normativa indica "que por encima de 30 metros" estás dentro del espacio aéreo controlado y tu permiso es suficiente.

There is no way to get lost because the trail is signposted and to find us you just have to reach the Atlantic coast of "Fte telha" and we will cross it, it is called (GR11 E9) when we take the route then we will reach a sign that says: "brandao and trafaria" we will go to the left in the direction of trafaria and that is when we will pass through this area, that is, the cliff, I warn you now that there are no shops nearby, take plenty of water and snacks, hat and sunscreen, 50 degrees have already been recorded around here.🌍📍
No hay forma de perdernos porque el sendero está señalizado y para localizarnos basta con llegar a la costa atlántica de "Fte telha" y nos vamos a cruzar con él, se llama (GR11 E9) cuando cojamos la ruta entonces vamos a llegar a un letrero que dice: "brandao y trafaria" nosotros vamos a ir a la izquierda en dirección trafaria y allí es cuando vamos a pasar por esta zona, o sea el acantilado, desde ya te advierto que no hay locales cercas lleva mucha agua y snacks, sombrero y bloqueador de sol, ya se registraron 50 grados por aqui.🗺️🚩

It's quite sad that the parish let the earth swallow the old Alpena military fort. Only rubble remains, and nothing can be seen nearby. We can see a windmill. I looked at the map and it seems there's something underground, but with the drone, it's hard to see! However, I mention it so you can try to locate it if you manage to hike the trail.🧭🌄
Es bastante triste que la freguesia dejo que la tierra se tragara el antiguo fuerte militar de Alpena, solo quedan unos escombros y no da para apreciar nada a las proximidades alcanzamos a ver un molino de viento, aunque estuve viendo en el mapa y parece que si hay algo subterráneo, pero con el drone no se aprecia bien! Sin embargo, lo menciono para que lo intentes localizar si llegas hacer el sendero.🚩🌅
Here we see these apartments in the distance, which belong to the city of Costa de Caparica. I believe it's one of the most visited by tourists throughout the year. First, it's close to Lisbon, just 10 km away! There's public transportation and even a boat to the city of Almada. I have some friends who live here and they tell me that for less than 80 euros a day you can rent a nice apartment a 10-minute walk from the beach. I think it's a good deal because it's enough for large families to pay, and they cost less than 20 euros each.🌍📸
Aqui vemos a lo lejos estos apartamentos pertenecen a la ciudad Costa de Caparica, creo que es una de las más visitadas por turistas a lo largo del todo el año, primero está próximo de Lisboa a tan solo 10 km! Tienes transporte público e inclusive un barco hasta la ciudad de Almada, tengo algunos amigos que viven aquí y me dicen que por menos de 80 euros por día puedes alquilar un buen apartamento a 10 min caminando de la playa, me parece una buena oferta porque da para pagar entre familias grandes y salen cada uno a menos de 20 euros.🚩🌄

In the video, he explained that the first settlers in this area date back to 1886 and were typically fishermen exploiting the ocean's resources. In fact, in the city of Costa de Caparica, you can still see those small, colorful fishermen's cottages! This might seem like a simple, arid dune, but it has history. This area, less than two kilometers away, is a protected area with much evidence of the Miocene, or more than 10 million years ago, and we can still see bivalves in the sand.🌍🌅
En el video explicaba que los primeros pobladores en esta zona datan del 1886 y normalmente eran pescadores que explotaban los recursos del oceano, en realidad en la ciudad de Costa de Caparica aún se ven esas pequenas casitas coloridas de pescadores! Te podrá parecer esto una simple duna árida, pero tiene historia, esta zona a menos de dos kilómetros es un área protegida con mucha evidencia del mioceno o sea hace más de 10 millones de años y aún podemos ver bivalvos en la arena.🚩🌍
