Wow! This is so helpful, now I know why my generator developed fault and consumed more fuel than necessary, I had to sell it thinking the generator was bad, I never knew it was because the load on it was just too small to work with. Thanks so much for your explanation, I now know better and can share this with others as well.

Exactly, you need to purchase the right size of generator; when it's too big, the fuel doesn't burn properly. If it's too small, the engine is overloaded and can't cope with the load. That's why sizing is necessary; that's the planing aspect before the purchase. Thanks for your decision to share the article.
