In some cases it has that effect. But in some other cases, where there is a lack of technical knowledge which is hard to obtain, that might prove helpful as long as the human controls the process.

How does the human know if they are controlling the process if they don't have the technical knowledge?
The context was to have technical knowledge, but not one that is very complex. The idea is to understand what AI implements and not be agnostic about it. Or at least that's how it is for me... I know programming but not at the level of an expert and AI helps bridge that gap.
I have programming experience too, but if I have AI create an app for me, I have no ability to know if it is secure or not. The problem is, too many people are doing it anyway. It's dangerous.
