Greetings from Caracas, Venezuela, friends. One more time @galenkp gave us interesting topics to write about. Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. I don't always have good ideas for weekend writing on our platform. Well, I will write about this topic:

Could you live without your mobile phone for one weekend? Answer why or why not and what challenges you'd face, or benefits you'd gain. Remember to use your own photos.

Chilhood without computers and mobile phone (1971)

When I was a child we did not have computers or mobile phone at home. I’m talking about the 1970s. When I was a young girl in the 1980s, we didn't have computers or cell phones at home yet. First mobile phone I saw, in the 1990s, was big and heavy. However, today we cannot imagine our world without computers and mobiles phones. Today we live in a completely computerized and digitalized world.

So, I haven't had a whole weekend without a cell phone for a long time. But I will imagine what could happen if this were to occur. Some years ago my cell phone was stolen and I was without a phone for a few days. It was a bad situation. There are too many things I do with my mobile phone, calling people but also sending and receiving text messages, looking for information, taking photos, design content for social networks, sending money from my bank account.

What would a weekend without a mobile phone be like?

Yes, I could go one weekend without my mobile phone. Just one weekend. Although, like millions of people around the world, I usually don't part with it for very long, except when I'm sleeping, taking a bath, watching a movie at the cinema, that is, when I find myself in situations where I can't use it. What would I do those two days without mobile phone? Enjoying live, enjoying nature.

Well, I love nature, I have written about it many times since I have been writing for Hive. Being in contact with nature is very good for mental and physical health. My favorite one is very close to home, I can get there in ten or fifteen minutes walking. If I were on a weekend without my cell phone I would visit East Park. You can see there a nice landscape but also animals (birds, tigers, monkeys, crocodiles).

I show you some photos I took last weekend. Obviously I wasn't without my cell phone, I took the pictures with my cell phone camera, but you can imagine that I didn't have a phone and I was just enjoying lanscape and the animals in the East park. Maybe it would be good to do the experiment on a weekend and really not use the phone, Monday through Friday is very difficult because I need it for work.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my imaginary weekend without a cell phone, enjoying nature. In the other hand, that's absolutely right. When I enjoy nature I'm not seeing my cell phone.

I am not english speaker, I'm spanish speaker but I wrote this post in English as it should be done in this community, but I consulted Deepl.com for the translation of some phrases about which I had doubts.
