MY SCIENCE OF SELF DISCOVERY
The Beginning of My Journey
Growing up, I have always dreamed of becoming an Engineer (A Civil Engineer). I would always draw dynamic Structures on paper and imagine building them one day. But dear colleagues as life unfolded, that very dream took a different turn. I later found myself in the field of education (chemistry to be specific) and a fashion designing skill. This was not by accident, but it was through the influence of my parents, the financial struggles, and the advice from mentors who saw my passion for teaching and creativity in tailoring.

Am I Where I Want to Be?
To be very honest, I’m not there yet and for sure I know. I’l admit I've made progress, teaching in schools, even venturing in managing a piggery business, and offering my fashion services. But truth be told, my big dream still feels like it’s only halfway fulfilled. There are definitely no regrets, though. Every step I’ve indeed taken has added something meaningful to my journey perfectly.
The Dreams and The Delays
Sincerely they're some goals I set years ago—like in owning a fashion hub which are still pending. What’s stopping me? Funds, mostly. I've really had to multitask: teaching during the day, sewing at evening and night, and managing livestock in between though my mother helped in that when I'm away. It’s so exhausting, but I only believe in the power of consistency and patience.
Breaking the Restraints
I plan to certainly break free by saving consistently, applying for grants opportunities, and improving my skills to really attract bigger clients. I’ve started networking more, by sharing my works online, and so much getting feedback that helps me grow. I also keeps on learning through YouTube, free webinars, and mentorship groups which have all been helpful.
Why Many People Don’t Achieve Their Goals
In my very own opinion, the background and the country’s economic condition are massively the major reasons. Some people are really born in environments where their dreams aren’t encouraged. Others do get stuck because the system doesn’t support growth at all. The bad policies, no access to capital and poor infrastructure.

My own journey hasn’t been that smooth, but I’m so much proud of how far I’ve come. Every hardship did taught me something. Every little win also gave me hope. So to everyone and anyone out there reading this: Please don’t give up. It may only take time, but with focus, faith, and effort, Those dreams are still very much valid so Keep showing up.
