After the rain for the past few days, the humid conditions around us have caused small mushrooms to emerge, as if competing to show off their beauty. This time, my attention was drawn to a rotten durian tree branch, lying on the ground under a large tree.

On the branch, I found a stunning Tricholomopsis aurea mushroom. The golden yellow color of its cap contrasted with the dark and mossy surface of the branch. Its slightly shiny cap seemed to reflect the soft light that entered through the gaps in the leaves. Its small and fragile shape looked so graceful, adding to the natural charm that made me stop and observe it more closely.

I attached a macro lens to my camera to capture its details. Up close, I could see the unique texture of the slightly fibrous surface of the cap and the fine lines radiating from the center to the edges. Its slender and slightly pale stem looked sturdy supporting this mushroom.
