One sunny afternoon, I was exploring the outskirts of a forest near my village, looking for interesting subjects to capture with my macro lens. While walking slowly, my eyes were attracted to a leaf that seemed to be a resting place for two beetles that were fighting or perhaps in the process of mating. Intrigued, I approached carefully, setting my camera to get the best details.
Taking photos of active insects like these requires patience and precision—I have to make sure not to disturb them while getting the right angle to capture the beautiful details of their shape and texture. The afternoon light provided perfect natural lighting, enriching the colors and shadows on the beetle's body, adding drama to the scene.
NOTE: I first wrote the article above in Indonesian, which is my own language, then I translated it using English with the help of Goggle.
