"Mushrooms among the Green Grass on the Irrigation Embankment"
One day, I decided to take a leisurely walk around the village, precisely along the irrigation that divides the green rice fields. The fresh air that morning was so refreshing, and occasionally you could hear the chirping of birds flying over the rice fields. Because I didn't bring a motorbike, I just walked while enjoying the natural atmosphere around me.
As usual, I brought photography equipment to capture the natural beauty I might encounter. When I walked along the edge of the irrigation embankment, my eyes fell on a small crowd of mushrooms growing beautifully among the green grass. After taking a closer look, I realized that this was the Panaeolina foenisecii mushroom, a species that often grows in grass after rain.
The sight of these mushrooms growing in groups, with some in full bloom while others were still in bud, really caught my attention. Some of them have even started to collapse, adding a natural character to this view. I immediately set up the camera and took photos from various angles. I took several close-up photos that show the beautiful detail on the underside of the mushroom, especially the textured and smooth gills. There is also a photo of the entire group of mushrooms which contrasts with the green grass leaves around it.
This moment really reminded me how amazing the natural diversity in our village is. The beauty of these tiny mushrooms, growing in simple places like irrigation dikes, shows that natural wonders can be found anywhere if we pay attention.
I dedicate this story to the Amazing Nature community as a form of appreciation for the charm of nature which is often hidden behind the small things that we often ignore.
NOTE: I first wrote the article above in Indonesian, which is my own language, then I translated it using English with the help of Goggle.
This looks like the mushrooms we eat here.
