"Hunting for Unique Mushrooms in the Field: Trichoglossum hirsutum and the Miniature Mushroom"

This is my contribution to

That day I decided to explore the forest in my village again in the hope of finding unique mushrooms. After a while of searching, my eyes fell on something very striking among the green moss. A black mushroom with a very distinctive shape standing upright on the damp ground. This is Trichoglossum hirsutum, a type of mushroom that I have never seen before. Its shape is like a small black tongue with a slightly rough texture. It felt like finding a treasure, and of course, I immediately took some photos to capture its uniqueness.

This mushroom really caught my attention. Its black color contrasted with its green and wet surroundings. I tried various angles to be able to capture the details of its unique texture, especially the surface that looked fuzzy.

However, the surprises did not stop there. As I went deeper, I found an incredibly tiny mushroom on top of the dirt chips. It was so small that it was almost impossible to see it with the naked eye. This was my biggest challenge that day: how to capture the beauty of this miniature mushroom in a photo?

I didn’t know what kind of mushroom it was, but its tiny size made me even more curious. I carefully tried different lighting techniques and angles to make sure the photo showed how small it was compared to my finger. At that moment, I felt like a scientist documenting a microorganism.

Mushroom hunting always gives me a new experience, especially when I find species that I have never seen before. These two mushrooms, the unique Trichoglossum hirsutum and the mysterious mini mushroom, were the highlights of my exploration that day.
