On a cool afternoon on the edge of a small forest in my village, I decided to explore the ever-fascinating macro world. With my camera and macro lens in hand, I walked down a narrow path covered with green leaves. Suddenly, a small movement caught my attention—an insect with sparkling eyes and detailed wings was perched on a leaf. Focusing and paying attention to details, I took the first picture. The insect, seemingly undisturbed, moved slowly enjoying the warm afternoon light. I moved to another angle, trying to capture the beauty of the colors and the incredible detail of its wings. In search of the perfect angle, I crouched close to the ground, steadied my breath, and pressed the shutter button.

When I saw the results on the camera screen, I knew that my efforts were not in vain. Both images capture the essence of the hidden beauty that we often don't notice in our busy lives. The first photo shows the insect in perfect isolation against a blurry background, emphasizing its physical details. The second photo, with a wider perspective, places the insect in the context of its natural habitat, giving the impression of dynamic life and interaction with the environment.

NOTE: I first wrote the article above in Indonesian, which is my own language, then I translated it using English with the help of Goggle.
