AI in our personal life
Today I was watching some scenes from Iron Man movies. I was watching scenes here and there and was fascinated by Jarvis. Today the technology is advancing in such a way that soon we might have systems similar to Jarvis that can completely work on voice-based commands. I would like to elaborate on how AI can be an important thing in our personal life.
People think that AI can only help automate a few tasks in the professional industry but with the help of AI, people can also enhance their lifestyle and get a lot more work done for them with the help of AI. We might have watched the movie Bicentennial man which is one of the best old robotic movie. Some of the modern movies took inspiration from that movie. I believe our personal life bots or humanoid robots will be similar to that and it may not be too far until we have them.
Voice based commands
In the movie Iron Man, Tony communicates with the AI with the help of voice commands. This is already available to us. A simple Google assistant or Alexa can understand the voice commands we give and is also able to respond. We are now able to achive very simple things where when we enter our house, we can ask Alexa to turn on the lights. I'm thinking that in the future maybe in another 10 years, we might have voice based commands very common and many household appliances can be controlled with voice commands. Imagine modern moms in the future doing the cooking with just voice commands.
Home control systems
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, I believe it should be possible to control our home security with the help of voice systems and with AI programmed in it. The AI can interact with the user and do all the things that someone would like to do in their house. In some cases in the future, if our grandmother or grandfather needs someone to talk to, they can also use robots to interact with. I have heard that some people find it amusing to talk to Google Home Mini or Alexa and they enjoy asking questions and get their questions answered.
I believe there are already houses in some part of the world that has a very good security system. The security system is also getting enhancements from time to time that makes it smarter day by day. We might get something in the future that is very common and that has AI in it. A few years back IoT devices itself were a big thing and today IoT devices are very common and the same can happen to AI devices too I guess.
Personal assistant
We can use AI as our assistant. I believe there is no such thing right now but some companies might start selling that as a business where they let you interact with a device that will be your assistant. If you tell the device what you need and it will remember and let you know back at the right time. Currently with Alexa and Google Home, some of those things are possible but having an exclusive AI-powered personal assistant will be great like how we have our mobile phones. Maybe we can say that our mobile phones can become our assistants if we have an AI element to them.

It was the first episode of the second season of Black Mirror that reminded me of similar thoughts. The woman who uploaded all the information of her deceased husband to artificial intelligence was able to correspond with him and then speak with his voice.
Nice. I have seen a similar thing in Transendence movie too.
It could be a breakthrough or perhaps the worst mistake in human history. It will really be a great help in many fields.
But I do not forget that many good intentions ended up becoming world tragedies.
I hope it is handled with care and is a tool for progress, I really hope it serves for good.
I guess things we see in movies are a bit over exaggerated. But we will still not know about it yet.
AI is now becoming one of the regular things we use everyday of our lives right now. From Siri to Alexa and so much more like that.

Technology has disadvantages as well as advantages, so we should always look at the advantages, but it is also a fact that the human mind can never do such things.
