Technology of no doubt has played a key role in promoting businesses in every aspect. From marketing to promotion and of course the new ways of adding value to our products.

I believe in one thing as a business development officer, whatever we do as a person there is one particular thing we lack and if we seek guidance we will get it.
I perfectly remember the owner of this business came to our outfit to seek guidance as to how to grow her business and we managed to share one or two to help grow her business.

As part of the responsibility of ensuring we don't just advise or admonish, we also spend time visiting the workplace of this business, and my recent visit to the owner of this business is just mind-blowing.

Before she came into our office for counseling, she was only manufacturing the bar soaps but now has added some additional products to the business and what is so astonishing is her ability to have this package for her business.

She has recently sought a grant from our outfit and it was important as part of the visit also ensure due diligence about the business and what she seeks the grant for.

Production has now increased and she is on course preparing another place to transfer the business.

Her ability to learn and make good use of technology has played a key role in a business. YouTube and other social media platform has helped her grab more ideas.
According to her, it was through YouTube that she managed to do the shower gel and some of the new products she has added.
And is through there that she also markets her products and through that, she has countless customers both locally and internationally. I believe is not only her but there are many people out there who are benefiting from social media marketing.
