I can assure you that doing that involves many hours of human labour. The results are so... rapid, and things are moving so fast that it’s sometimes quite frightening

You're right, the acceleration can be unsettling, and like a tsunami wave, it just keeps coming. I have a bit of experience with various aspects of the design process and tools, so I know that it takes many hours of hard work and study to develop the skills to create such illustrations. Now it's all easily available. There are no easy answers to the difficult questions the technology raises, and it is just beginning.
I find a lot of the things I’ve read about quite worrying, such as the fact that some AI systems make decisions and reason in hidden places or on hidden pages… there’s a lot of danger lurking behind all this that people don’t see.
The design tools are excellent, but the others scare me.
Yes, it's very dangerous technology, and it is becoming widespread in society. This is why I think that it is good to be familiar with it and be able to ride the waves of change in style (and without crashing).
