Unboxing de la laptop ASUS VivoBook| Mi anhelada computadora (SPA-ENG)
Saludos para todos los amantes de la tecnología que hacen vida en esta estupenda comunidad.
Amigos, comparto con mucha alegría el unboxing de mi nueva laptop. Desde hace mucho tiempo estaba necesitando actualizar mi equipo de trabajo, pero por una u otra razón no había podido hacerlo.
Mi primera laptop fue un regalo que me hizo mi esposo en el año 2006. Era una Acer que para el momento cumplía con todas las características que necesitaba para mi trabajo. Fue mi caballito de batalla durante muchos años hasta que por un problema en la placa dejó de conectarse a internet y me vi en la necesidad de usar otros equipos. A esa laptop la cuidé como a la niña de mis ojos, tanto que está intacta, lo único es que ya la batería no carga y funciona enchufada, pero el teclado está completo, la pantalla nítida, el transformador de corriente sin enrollamientos y, lo mejor actualmente, es que mi esposo la usa para dar talleres de programación con Linux a mis sobrinos pequeños y vecinos.

Friends, I share with great joy the unboxing of my new laptop. For a long time I needed to upgrade my work equipment, but for one reason or another I had not been able to do it.
My first laptop was a gift from my husband in 2006. It was an Acer that at the time had all the features I needed for my work. It was my workhorse for many years until a problem in the board stopped connecting to the internet and I had to use other equipment. I took care of that laptop like the apple of my eye, so much that it is intact, the only thing is that the battery no longer charges and works plugged in, but the keyboard is complete, the screen is clear, the power transformer without winding and, the best thing now, is that my husband uses it to give programming workshops with Linux to my young nephews and neighbors.

Entre los equipos que tuve que usar, mientras reunía el dinero para comprarme una nueva computadora, están la Pc que teníamos en casa, una Dell que me había regalado mi sobrino y que se la di a mi hija cuando se fue a estudiar a Caracas, una laptop usada que compré en diciembre de 2019 que no duró mucho. Definitivamente, esta fue una mala compra, así que por mi experiencia, les recomiendo que no hagan lo que hice yo y que esperen, mientras se ajusta el presupuesto para adquirir un equipo nuevo.
Luego de haber desechado esa laptop usada que compré que ya ni recuerdo que marca era, mi esposo me prestó una Gateway que usaba él y que había usado mi sobrino para sus estudios en informática en la universidad.
Con esa Gateway, yo había estado trabajando vía online con mis estudiantes de la universidad en estos tiempos de pandemia, seguí con mi teletrabajo durante estos últimos dos años y la usaba para hacer mis publicaciones en la blockchain desde que nació #Hive. Además, con ella aprendí a trabajar en Linux. Era la primera vez que usaba este programa y puedo decir que mi experiencia fue buena.
Among the equipment I had to use, while I gathered the money to buy a new computer, are the Pc we had at home, a Dell that my nephew had given me and that I gave to my daughter when she went to study in Caracas, a used laptop I bought in December 2019 that did not last long. Definitely, this was a bad purchase, so from my experience, I recommend you not to do what I did and wait, while the budget adjusts to acquire a new computer.
After I threw away that used laptop I bought that I don't even remember what brand it was, my husband lent me a Gateway that he used and that my nephew had used for his computer studies in college.
With that Gateway, I had been working online with my university students in these times of pandemic, I continued with my telework during these last two years and I used it to make my publications on the blockchain since #Hive was born. In addition, with it I learned to work on Linux. It was the first time I used this program and I can say that my experience was good.
Cuando esa laptop llegó a mis manos, ya venía rota porque se había caído al piso y se había dañado el soporte de la pantalla, por lo cual no se podía cerrar. Al teclado le faltaban algunas teclas, estaba realmente deteriorada, sin embargo, no me puedo quejar de ella, me funcionó hasta hace pocos días y, ahora, la usará mi sobrina Andrea para sus publicaciones hasta que pueda adquirir una.
Con todo lo que yo le exigía a esta laptop, usando el discord, descargando muchas fotos para mis publicaciones, con varias páginas abiertas, era lógico que a veces se quedara colgada. Me armaba de paciencia, respiraba, y seguía con ella, pero con la visión clara de que ya era hora de tener una laptop nueva, y por ello seguí con dedicación y empeño en #Hive, pues una parte del dinero la obtuve gracias a mi trabajo sostenido por más de cuatro años en esta maravillosa blockchain.
When I got my hands on that laptop, it was already broken because it had fallen to the floor and the screen support had been damaged, so it could not be closed. The keyboard was missing some keys, it was really deteriorated, however, I can't complain about it, it worked until a few days ago and now my niece Andrea will use it for her publications until she can buy one.
With all that I demanded to this laptop, using the discord, downloading many pictures for my publications, with several pages open, it was logical that sometimes it would hang. I armed myself with patience, breathed, and continued with it, but with the clear vision that it was time to have a new laptop, and therefore I continued with dedication and commitment in #Hive, because part of the money I got thanks to my work sustained for more than four years in this wonderful blockchain.

Desde el año pasado, comencé a ver diferentes opciones para comprarme una laptop. A finales de noviembre, mi sobrino me había regalado, por el día de mi cumpleaños, unos usdt y de inmediato los dispuse como base para la compra de la computadora.
Desde entonces, mi hija estuvo buscando cotizaciones en Colombia y yo desde aquí, en Venezuela. En diciembre, ella me envió algunos modelos, me gustó una, pero por razones ajenas a mi voluntad, el deseo de tener una laptop nueva quedó suspendido, pero latente, eso sí. Ya saben cómo es el tiempo de inclemente, pasa y no nos damos cuenta. De todas las que mi hija buscó en Bogotá, me gustó una Dell con las características que les comparto en la siguiente foto.

Como les dije, guardé mi deseo solo por pocos meses y me enfoqué en alcanzarlo en el primer trimestre del año, pues ya era justo y necesario, además, me la merecía.
Este año, hice mi primer powerdown con la intención de atender unas prioridades familiares y dejar una parte en ahorros para seguir sumando, a lo que ya tenía guardado.
En febrero, mi sobrino me habló de una promoción en Amazon, así que le pedí apoyo con eso para que la compráramos. Le expliqué lo que necesitaba para mi trabajo y lo dejé en sus manos. A principios del mes, él vino a casa para que juntos revisáramos las características de varios modelos.
As I told you, I kept my wish for only a few months and I focused on achieving it in the first quarter of the year, because it was fair and necessary, besides, I deserved it.
This year, I made my first powerdown with the intention of taking care of some family priorities and leaving a part in savings to continue adding to what I already had saved.
In February, my nephew told me about a promotion on Amazon, so I asked him to help me with that so we could buy it. I explained what I needed for my work and left it in his hands. At the beginning of the month, he came home so that together we could review the features of several models.
Les confieso que no sé mucho de cuestiones técnicas, pero escuchaba hablando a mi sobrino y a mi esposo y me gustaba lo que oía. Ellos estaban buscando lo mejor para mí, en relación a mi presupuesto y mis necesidades. La compra se hizo se hizo el 02 de febrero. Desde entonces, estuve muy ilusionada, esperando mi computadora, contando los días.
Tuve que controlar mi ansiedad para no preguntarle mucho a mi sobrino si sabía algo de la compu, solo le pregunté una vez, ¡jajaja! Me quedé tranquila cuando me dijo la fecha de la llegada aproximada a Venezuela. Y, finalmente, el 23 de febrero llegó mi tan esperada laptop. Dentro de todo, la espera no fue tan larga.
I confess that I don't know much about technical matters, but I listened to my nephew and my husband talking and I liked what I heard. They were looking for the best for me, in relation to my budget and my needs. The purchase was made on February 2nd. Since then, I was very excited, waiting for my computer, counting the days.
I had to control my anxiety not to ask my nephew too much if he knew anything about the computer, I only asked him once, hahaha! I was reassured when he told me the approximate arrival date in Venezuela. And, finally, on February 23rd my long awaited laptop arrived. All in all, the wait was not that long.

Luego de recibir el mensaje de mi sobrino, me arreglé rápidamente y nos fuimos al DHL donde llegó el paquete con mi laptop. Yo estaba muy feliz, ya tenía en mis manos la computadora, gracias a mi trabajo en #Hive y al apoyo de mi amada familia. De la emoción, casi se me olvidan las fotos para compartir con ustedes.
After receiving the message from my nephew, I got dressed quickly and we went to DHL where the package arrived with my laptop. I was very happy, I already had the computer in my hands, thanks to my work at #Hive and the support of my beloved family. From the excitement, I almost forgot the pictures to share with you.

Ahora sí, les muestro lo que fue el primer encuentro con mi laptop ASUS VivoBook. Llegamos a casa y de inmediato abrí la caja. En ella venía la computadora y su cargador. Me sorprendió el tamaño. No la imaginé tan pequeña y delgada, realmente una belleza de equipo. ¡La amé!
Now I show you what was the first encounter with my ASUS VivoBook laptop. We arrived home and I immediately opened the box. In it came the computer and its charger. I was surprised by the size. I didn't imagine it so small and thin, really a beauty of a computer. I loved it!

Especificaciones técnicas de mi ASUS VivoBook
La pantalla es de 14 pulgadas, tiene un procesador AMD Ryzen 3 3250U (caché de 4 MB, hasta 3,5 GHz), con 8 GB de RAM DDR4 y 256 GB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD. Además, incluye USB 3.1 tipo C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 y HDMI; Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac).
El teclado es ergonómico, retroiluminado con sensor de huellas dactilares activado a través de Windows Hello, lo que me encantó porque es una forma de acceder muy rápida. Realmente, este teclado es muy cómodo. Mi esposo me dice que lo use con cuidado, pues cuando estoy inspirada escribiendo, lo uso como cuando tenía que teclear duro en la Gateway, ¡jajaja! The keyboard is ergonomic, backlit with fingerprint sensor activated via Windows Hello, which I loved because it's a very fast way to log in. Really, this keyboard is very comfortable. My husband tells me to use it carefully, because when I'm inspired to type, I use it like when I had to type hard on the Gateway, haha! So I'm keeping an eye on this. Estos últimos días he estado trabajando en mi nueva laptop y ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Qué placer es tener un equipo nuevo y qué satisfactorio es poder decir que es producto del esfuerzo, la dedicación y el amor. Pues sí, al amor que le pongo a todo, a mi vida, a mi familia, al trabajo y a lo que comparto con todos por aquí.
No había compartido este unboxing, esperando que se diera la oportunidad para compartir con mis amigos del programa Exprésate, especialmente, los que moderan la temática de tecnología @josecarrerag y @gorayii. Amigos, mi gratitud y bendiciones por la motivación que nos inyectan semana a semana en ese espacio.
Y, para terminar, mi consejo para quienes me leen es que sigan trabajando con empeño por lo que desean. Quiero que sepan que con tenacidad y amor por lo que hacemos, todo se puede alcanzar.
These last few days I have been working on my new laptop and it has been a wonderful experience. What a pleasure it is to have a new computer and how satisfying it is to be able to say that it is the product of effort, dedication and love. I cant prove she is the one directly doing the V2K and RNM. Doing it requires more than one person at the least. It cant be done alone. She cant prove she is not one of the ones doing it. I was drugged in my home covertly, it ended badly. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Ask @battleaxe to prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the V2K and RNM in me is being broadcast from her location. And what the fuck is "HOMELAND SECURITY" doing about this shit? I think stumbling over their own dicks maybe? They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years.
What would you say while having a gun pointed at your head from an undisclosed location? Have people find it? My hands are tied while they play like children with a gun to my head. Its a terrorist act on American soil while some yawn and say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. Qué emoción total después de tener que conformarte con intentos fallidos, además que bonito contar con este espacio en donde compartirlo con personas que tenemos la misma ilusión! Es algo que hace unos años era casi imposible pensar, recuerdo cuando tuve mi primera laptop y tuvo un fallo de fabrica que la inutilizó a los tres meses quedé súper desanimada y tras un año de espera pude tener mi siguiente computadora de mesa, la emoción era enorme pero no tenía a nadie que lo entendiera, claro mis padres sabían que era algo importante para mi pero no podían entender lo importante de las especificaciones que logramos adquirir jajaja @aurodivys espero que la disfrutes mucho y que te vaya súper bien con ella!!
