Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. The current era is the era of technology. This technology has brought the fastest means of Networking and Socialism. The things that were happening in the past like Lazy Cattle passing through a pasture, now are happening magically speedy. It is good to see that the smart world is dominating our globe. No doubt, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Telegram have broken communication gaps. As we are more exposed to Digital World, we are more prone to risk as well. Our Privacy can be breached easily if any cybercriminals hack or attack our Social Networking. Nowadays, it is very common everywhere when the personal information of many people is not only leaked but also manipulated badly resulting in chaos in the world.

Currently, I have experienced one dangerous but furious example of Cybercrime. This incident was faced by the brother of my friend. My friend's bro is working in Islamabad. One day, he was busy playing a Cricket tournament. The hacker had stolen all his data without his notice. They immediately called his father and mentioned that his son had been arrested at a private party. Moreover, they warned his parents that if his parents did not send $2K in PKR to their provided account then they would kill him. They provided the CNIC numbers to his parents for more confirmation. When his parents heard about the vulnerability of his life and the sensitivity of the matter, they arranged the required amount and sent it to the provided account. After a few days when everything became normal, my friend received calls from his parents. His parents were very guarded in their words, started asking about his health, and also inquired about the incident faced. First, their son was taking the words of his parents as a joke but when his parents made cleared many things then he exposed that his number was hacked from few days. I was struggling to redback my number but I failed.

Now it was useless to cry over spilit Milk because the cybercriminals had already taken what they want. When my friend exposed this incident to me, I was really sad as well as shocked because it was first time, I heard a rare incident of cybersecurity in Pakistan. After this incident, I learned many things.

• Hive is the best platform because it has provided us an account that can be controlled with number of keys. These keys are the reason for the good security system on Hive

• Don't Click any random link provided by anyone until we didn't have a confidential trust level about it

• Never ever save your security password on your Gmail account

• We should save our sensitive information on any hardware better

When I investigated details about the above event then I came to know that my friend's brother had once clicked on a random link on a Facebook. After clicking this link, the cybercriminals took full control on his account and stole what the need for collecting money from his parents. I'm feeling what happened with my friend's family but nowadays these events are more frequent.

In Current era of Digitisation, we can't ignore the importance of Cyber Security Education. We can't keep ourselves from smart devices and most of these smart devices can be a source of personal data hacks and security threats. We should be careful on Social Media and didn't cross the security limits provided by each limits. Accounts on Web 2 Platforms are easy to be hacked, hence I love Hive Blockchain with its Web3 Version that is much better in security. Our data is very sensitive hence we should act on above instructions I have provided above. Alhamdulillah,still I have not been a victim of Cybersecurity but I'm ready it can happen. Hence, I also have made preparations about it by securing my personal data in a hardware like memory card. We should not trust on any third party application because they all are more prone to cyber thefts.
