For the first time in decades, Antarctica’s ice sheet has gained mass. Wait, Isn’t Global Warming Supposed to Melt the Ice?

Antarctica's ice sheet has gained mass, more than 100 billion tons in one year, for the first time in decades, according to a new study. After hearing about the South Pole rapidly melting for years, and how this was flooding coastlines everywhere, we are now seeing growth in ice by the billions of tons?

This flies in the face of the existing narrative that climate change is causing runaway melt and irreversible sea level rise. Whatever happened to the "settled science"? Why isn't anyone explaining this yet?

Of course, mainstream media is trying to explain it. They say it is "anomaly" or unusual snowfall. But if one year of ice loss is "evidence" of climate change, one year of gain should count for something, if not serious consideration!

Climate models have been wrong before! If Antarctica can gain this much mass in this short of time, it is time to question the assumptions our alarmist conclusions are built on, as well as the political and financial agendas built on them.

Maybe nature isn't reading the same script.
