Spinach is soft from the leaf and the stem. The leaf can easily be affected by winds and other natural disaster. Harvesting a spinach should be done with caution so that the leaf will not die and for another leaf to grow from they. There's white water that used to come out from the harvested spinach leaf. Spinach has a seed and the seed is what is to be used for planting. Spinach seed used to be small and green and if it becomes mature they can be used for planting. Mature spinach seed is black in color and that is the only way to know they mature.
The good thing about spinach is that the seed can help to germinate many spinach by the time the seeds mature and fall on their own from the spinach mature stem. Spinach do more well in a good soil that can sustain water. Spinach is better to be health beneficial with natural soil than artificial or man made fertilizer. The best and good way I plant my spinach is during the rainy season and this is possible with a mature spinach seed. Sometimes I used to preserve spinach seed by making them dry from the sun and sometimes I don't weed mature spinach stems with seeds but I used to allow them till the year I will be interested for another spinach planting.
Spinach can be planted only by spraying the seeds to a tilled land with no weed on it. Spinach can also be planted into the soil by using a knife to open the soil and then put 4 or 3 spinach seeds.
