Welcome to OffChain Luxembourg Association

OffChain Luxembourg wellcomes everyone to exprore a unique real life experiment of a decentralized human organization, but what is that?.
Imagine a typical organization with a board of directors, a president, a vice president, department heads, supervisors, and employees, where members simply follow the plans set for them, but at Offchain Luxembourg, OCL intends to innovate by creating an association based on blockchain ethos by introducing the decentralized human organization concept in which OCL plans to have autonomous and decentralized decision making and non-coerced collaboration nodes formed by Offchain Luxembourg members.
These nodes will share core values such as collaboration, communication, coordination, transparency, fairness, and innovation, all working towards a common mission and vision for the prosperity and well-being of all.

About OffChain Luxembourg

OffChain Luxembourg (OCL) is a chapter of OffChain Global, an unincorporated association. It is a global community for Web3 professionals and enthusiasts, focused on meetups.

OCL believes that a decentralized human organization (DHO) driven by blockchain principles can be integrated into a legal framework. This is why OCL is registered as a non-profit association under Luxembourg law and shares its status and transactions on the HIVE blockchain.

Some of OCL's core members have been involved since 2016, providing a solid foundation for OffChain Luxembourg's development.

OffChain Luxembourg Vision

OCL vision is to foster a decentralized ecosystem where innovation thrives, collaboration is seamless, and knowledge is freely shared. OCL aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge blockchain technology and real-world applications, creating a sustainable and inclusive environment for enthusiasts, professionals, and innovators. By leveraging the principles of decentralization, transparency, and community-driven growth, OffChain Luxembourg is committed to shaping the future of digital economies and empowering individuals to contribute to a more connected and prosperous world.

OffChain Luxembourg Mission

OCL aims to achieve their vision through these four main points:

1. Planing to issue the first MICA complaint token in Luxembourg.
2. Tokenized, bank-less, decentralized organization. The value created within the organization is accounted for in our token rather than in a fiat currency.
3. Value Creation: Offchain Luxembourg, will harness the transformative power of blockchain-based crypto-assets to foster Value creation.
   OCL has a innovative governance model Weighted voting (using staked tokens).
   OCL works with “Nodes” (teams). Members of each node will have the opportunity to share and develop their ideas while learning from others.
   OCL expects to create 3 jobs crypto-related jobs.
4. Organizing events related with web3, offchain and crypto.

What is MICA?

MiCA, or the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, is a set of rules created by the European Union to regulate cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. Its main goals are to protect investors, prevent fraud, and make sure that the cryptocurrency market operates smoothly and fairly.

OCLT

OffChain Luxembourg aims to introduce the first MICA compliant token called “OffChain Luxembourg” Token (OCLT), created as a token of appreciation for members who choose to collaborate.

• Members will be awarded in OCLT.
• OCLT Can be transferred at no cost.
• OCLT can also be staked.
• OCLT gives you governance power.
• The more you do to build the community, the more OCLT you’ll earn.

OCLT in the Blockchain

OCL issued the OCLT token on Hive (L1) and Hive-Engine (L2) @ocl-trez, with a max supply of 1 trillion.

Why HIVE?

1. Free transactions – no need to worry about having HIVE in wallet to initiate a transaction.
2. Account abstraction implemented at protocol level. Accounts are “@frankiboy” rather than 0x326acf5dd9a49de2a6a43b9c8cf0a96b77ace226
3. Hierarchical keys and account recovery.
4. Friendly user interfaces – desktop and mobile.
5. Multi-signature capability
6. Integrated algorithmic stablecoin (HBD)
7. Javascript smart contract templates supporting stake-based voting out-of-the-box.

Issuance schedule will be decided by the DHO.

Nodes

The ones shown in the image are some of the nodes that OffChain Luxembourg believes will help achieve its objectives. However, there is flexibility to add, change or remove nodes as needed.
