The part about your grandfather escaping Germany really lands, because it shows how change can ripple into who even exists. Your right to be cautious, since even a noble fix can twist lives in ways we can't see, and and the cost might be you. I like that you aim for building a kinder future instead of tugging at teh past. Time travel sounds cool until it turns into a weird custody battle with your own timeline.

Totally get it, your spot on: the fun is in testing if a path could exist, not in < poking the past. I like the thought lab vibe, mapping posibility space and seeing what rules hold without touching a single domino. It keeps the identity headaches and moral mess out, while still stretching how we think about time. Feels safer and way more interesting.
