I think they are also called Rain Panels and indeed they are the perfect choice to replace fossil fuels. Though I think it might take time for the technology to become widely available. I once conceived an idea of making a power generator that makes use of both sun rays and rain droplets to produce energy. So that you have energy whether the sun is up or the rain is falling. Yeah, the technology is still at its primary level, but I hope that it will be very effective in the future with massive technological development. Still, the output is very low, but some reports deal with integrating many devices, just like the photo voltaic cells, to extend the output power. Thanks for stopping by!
