Snowbond Village
(Edited)
Would you live in a village in the middle of nowhere, where the sun almost never appears because of the low-hanging clouds? I doubt it.
There are many such villages in our region. The hilly terrain and constant winds create harsh weather conditions, and at times like these the only desire a local has is not to go out. After all, there is nothing better than staying home in bad weather with a cup of hot tea. Or something a bit stronger.

Once I found myself in such a village. I spotted the nearest hill, climbed up with my camera, sinking knee-deep in snow. The first picture clearly shows a dense snow cloud hanging low over the village. There was hardly any snowfall, yet the sight of this snowbound village suggested just one thing — that time had stopped here. Of course, that is not true. It is a perfectly alive and modern village; it has simply, like many others, been unlucky with the weather.
I tried to convey this overcast atmosphere in black and white, although even the original images lack bright colors. The first shot was taken at 17–40 mm, the rest at 70–300 mm. Hope you enjoy it. ❄️

Simply perfect scenes, an entire village covered with the decoration of snow.
