My Little Gray Friend

Yes, just over a year ago, a cat appeared in our home. And he’s gray and white.

We didn’t plan to get a pet. My wife is actually a dog person, while I personally prefer cats.

But sometimes the right creature finds you at just the right time.

It finds you, captures your attention, and fills your life with joy, comfort, and sometimes a little chaos.

Gray coat, white chest, white paws, a white tail tip, and a white stripe on the forehead. His eyes were originally pale blue, but now, since he’s over a year old, he has huge, bright orange eyes.
 

Curious, demanding attention, loving good food, playtime, and warm naps. And of course, always watching the birds that keep coming to the feeder outside the window.

I set up a small photo session for him on some pillows, and these photographs are my way of capturing his calm presence — the rare moments when he’s not begging for treats or at least pretending not to.

He fell asleep right there on those pillows just a couple of minutes later.

Meet Charlie. My little gray friend. 🐾
