A Moment of Harmony
(Edited)
I don’t think I’ve ever come across a more peaceful sight than horses grazing by a lakeshore.

That morning, I stopped by a mountain lake. The sky was overcast, but there was no wind — the air was perfectly still. Near the water’s edge, two horses — one black, one white — were quietly grazing. Every now and then, they would drift closer to one another, then slowly move apart again, as if following a rhythm known only to them.

But soon, I realized there were not two of them, but three. A foal emerged from the grass and immediately made its way to its mother. It would stay close to her, then wander a few steps away, yet it never strayed far. There was something quietly warm and alive about its presence.

Despite the grey sky and the rain beginning to fall, the scene lifted my spirits. There was something both simple and infinitely profound about it — the kind of harmony that makes you want to pause for a moment and simply take it all in.

Black and white horses in black and white? Why not? Great shots as always.
