Two very beautiful types of gill mushrooms

Hello photography lovers, I hope all of us are always in good health and all other activities are launched. In this post I want to share some photos of gill mushrooms that are extraordinarily beautiful in my opinion. I took some photos of these mushrooms a few days ago in the forest when I was hunting for mushrooms.

As is well known, mushrooms will grow in humid conditions after it rains, and containers where mushrooms grow are like rotting dead wood. Or also palm bunches, straw and rotten sago trees.

And on this occasion I share two types of beautiful gill mushrooms, the first is a mushroom from the Marasmiaceae family with the Latin name Nothopanus.

I found some photos of these beautiful little mushrooms growing on areca palm trees that had been cut down for a long time, so the areca plants had started to decompose and then some mushrooms grew on them.

Even though the Nothopanus mushroom has pretty beautiful gills, when viewed from above or the mushroom umbrella itself it is less attractive, or not as beautiful as when we look at it from below or its gills.

Then there is a mushroom that also has beautiful gills like the mushroom above, it is the Crepidotus mushroom. I found this fungus growing on two different branches, the first was on the fronds of the palm and the second was on the branches of the durian plant.

Just like the Nothopanus mushroom above, the Crepidotus mushroom is also not very attractive when viewed from above, or from its umbrella, but both of them do have beauty in their gills.

These are so cute 😀 With the constant drought here, you can rarely find any fungi.

It also started raining here recently after a long drought. If not, it will be very difficult for us to find mushrooms. Thank you for stopping by my post @erikah :)
