Two moth species and one baby Dysdercus cingulatus
Hunting insects has become my routine since I joined this platform. And that can be seen in all of my posts, which contain almost all macro photo content with most of the objects being insects. That's because whenever I get the chance I always take a little time to hunt for insects in the bushes and forests. Sometimes I go alone but on several occasions I also go with other friends.
And today I want to share three species of insects that I photographed a few days ago. The first is baby Dysdercus cingulatus, an insect that is also known as the red cotton stainer is an insect that comes from the Pyrrhocoridae family.
In various regions in Indonesia this insect also has several names, such as in Aceh this insect is called "Kameng Tri". But generally this insect is known as "Bapak Pucung".
Then there is a species of moth known as the plane moth because of the shape of this moth that resembles the shape of an airplane. While from a scientific point of view this moth is named Aellopos titan, a moth from the Sphingidae family.
Then the last is a species of moth that is similar to a wasp, some even call it a wasp moth. It is a genus of the Eressa moth, a moth in the Erebidae family.
