When going to the forest, many species of insects will welcome you, especially butterfly species. Butterflies are widespread in various parts of the world with various species that exist in them. In addition to various species of butterflies also consist of various sizes and colors.

And while hunting for macro objects in the forest, I managed to capture several beautiful photos of skipper butterfly species. The skipper butterfly is a butterfly from the Hesperiidae family in the order Lepidoptera. Skipper butterflies generally have two color variants, namely yellow and brown or a mixture of both, although I rarely find them.

As for this post, I will share two species of skipper butterflies with two different colors, namely brown and yellow. The brown one is commonly known as Formosan swift (Borbo cinnara). The existence of this butterfly is quite easy to find in Southeast Asia, such as in the forests of Indonesia.

While the yellow skipper butterfly is commonly known as the "lesser dart" (Potanthus omaha). The two color variants of the skipper butterfly both have their own charm. Both in terms of color, shape and also agility.

The skipper butterfly species is known to be more agile than other types of butterflies. Maybe because when maneuvering in the air the skipper butterfly doesn't seem sluggish or wordy, it moves faster from one location to another.

Even though the skipper butterfly is agile, it is actually easier to photograph when it is standing on a leaf or branch. Maybe because he is confident to appear in front of the camera. :)
