Robber Fly and Dragonfly (green skimmer)
Yesterday at around 17.00 I went to the location of the bush where many twigs of wild plants had dried up. I purposely wanted to shoot some flying insect species like dragonflies or robber flies there. And luck may still be on my side. The dragonfly and robber fly I wanted to photograph was there.
I found a Robber Fly (Asilidae) on a branch on the edge of the embankment. At first I had difficulty taking pictures because the position of the branches was quite difficult to access. But I tried to still be able to photograph this robber fly perfectly and I managed to do it. It's just that I can only take pictures of it in a small amount, which is only 3 photos, after that the robber fly disappeared without returning to the original branch I found the robber fly.
Then still at the same location but on a different branch I again found a dragonfly who was also coolly perched on a twig. Is Orthetrum serapia, green skimmer dragonfly from the family Libellulidae. This dragonfly is very easy to find in my area. It is anywhere in the grass or bush area. It's just that sometimes to take pictures is not too easy. He's a little sensitive when he's not yet so comfortable on a twig. However, if he is comfortable standing on a branch, we can freely take pictures of him.
