Monomad - Wild plants of the genus fern (Stenochlaena palustris)
This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
Some time ago while looking for macro objects in the forest, I found a wild plant that resembled a fern. Even though this plant looks like a fern, rural people do not use the young stems of this plant as vegetables, and some even argue that this wild plant is poisonous.
Out of curiosity, I finally asked Google Lens for help to find out a little about this wild plant and sure enough, this wild plant is a genus of fern with the Latin name Stenochlaena palustris. And interestingly, from these sources it is stated that this plant can be eaten and even the leaves are often used for traditional medicines such as fever, stomach ulcers and stomachaches.
