Monomad - Weevil & Grasshopper are making love

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

Earlier at around 16.30 I went hunting for insects in the bushes by the river. The weather was favorable because it wasn't hot and not too cloudy, which made me a little excited. There are several species of insects that I managed to photograph there, two of which I want to share on today's #monomad challenge.

From several photos that I managed to capture, I was more interested in a pair of beetles & grasshoppers who were each making love. They are Phyllobius argentatus beetles, or often called "silver-green leaf weevil."

And for grasshoppers it is the Melanoplus grasshopper. I also found this pair of grasshoppers in a location close to the location where I found the beetles above. Interestingly, the two pairs of insects that I found were both making love. What a happy coincidence for me. :)
