Monomad - The predator was named Oxyopes salticus

A few days ago I was again hunting for macro objects in the bushes, and on that occasion I again found the Oxyopes salticus spider preying on a small caterpillar. These spiders are widely spread in bushes both in grass and other wild plants.

This has become typical of this spider from the Oxyopidae family, which is indeed silent behind the leaves while waiting for its prey to come. The prey itself is a type of insect that has the same size as the spider's body, although sometimes the prey can be larger than the spider's body size or also smaller.

On several occasions I myself have seen firsthand that Oxyopes salticus spiders prey on moths, beetles and other types of insects. And below, I have uploaded some photos of Oxyopes salticus spiders that want to eat caterpillars. Here are some photos:
