Monomad - One species of cricket & two species of grasshopper

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

While I was in the grass area a few days ago I managed to capture some photos of grasshoppers and crickets. Grasshoppers and crickets are insect species that both come from the order Orthoptera. Even these two species have some similarities both in terms of shape, size and food.

But even so, there are still differences from them, one of which is located in the antenna. Grasshoppers usually have antennas that are no longer than their body size, while crickets have relatively long antennae, sometimes even the length of their antennae is almost the same as their body size or maybe sometimes they look longer.

The photos of crickets and grasshoppers that I mean are Hexacentrus crickets. Genus of bush crickets in the family Tettigoniidae.

Then there is the Oxya grasshopper, this grasshopper can often be found in fresh grass. It can be seen in the photo that the Oxya grasshopper has eaten the edge of the grass where he was standing.

And the last is the Chrysochraon dispar grasshopper, a species of grasshopper from the Acrididae family that is no less interesting in appearance. And this grasshopper is also easy to find in fresh grass areas like the Oxya grasshopper above.
