Monomad - Ladybug (Coccinellidae)
This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
While hunting for insects a few days ago I took the time to look for ladybugs in eggplant plants. Ladybug is a small beetle from the Coccinellidae family that really likes to live on eggplant plants. In fact it's almost impossible without ladybugs on every eggplant plant. Because the ladybug itself is also a pest for eggplant plants, besides eggplant the favorite plant for ladybugs is pumpkin plants.
In addition, every eggplant leaf that has been bitten by a ladybug must have had an effect on the eggplant plant itself. In addition to inhibiting the growth of leaves, a large number of ladybug attacks can even cause the eggplant to wither and slowly die.
