Macro Photography - Two beautiful Marasmius mushrooms

Marasmius is a mushroom genus that contributes many types of small mushrooms that are beautiful & interesting both in terms of shape and color. There are several types of mushrooms in the Marasmius genus and two of them I want to share in this post.

The first is the Marasmius haematocephalus mushroom, this pretty pink mushroom has a relatively small size and its umbrella shape slightly resembles a hat. Its small size is not a problem because the beautiful shape and color are enough to make up for its flaws.

Then the second marasmius mushroom is named Marasmius limosus, this mushroom also has almost the same size & shape as the mushroom above, except that Marasmius limosus has a different color, which is yellow. And both are mushrooms in the Marasmiaceae family. These two fungi often grow on dried leaves of and also sometimes grow on sticks plant palm oil.
