Macro Photography - Gliophorus perplexus & Psathyrella fungi
Today I again want to share some macro photos but not insects as the object but some photos of beautiful mushrooms. I found several photos of this mushroom at different times and locations in the forest. The first mushroom is a small mushroom that is brightly colored & attractive, namely the Gliophorus perplexus mushroom.
"Gliophorus perplexus is a species of agaric fungus in the family Hygrophoraceae." Wikipedia
This mushroom is quite interesting because its texture is like jelly and when it is still in its early stages of growth it looks like mucus covering the entire outer skin of the mushroom, especially with the combination of a slightly yellowish red color which makes it look more attractive.
The second is a mushroom growing on a small twig, the two of them grow together like twins. Apart from those that grow together (twins), of course there are also those that grow separately on different twigs. The mushrooms I mean are part of the fungus genus Psathyrella.
"Psathyrella is a large genus of about 400 species, and is similar to the genera Coprinellus, Coprinopsis, Coprinus and Panaeolus, usually with a thin cap and white or yellowish white hollow stem." Wikipedia
