Macro Photography - Butterflies & Dragonflies

In this post I again want to share some macro photos with insect objects. There are two species of insects that I managed to photograph a few days ago when I was in the bushes. Both are a beautiful butterfly and dragonfly.

This beautiful butterfly is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family with the binomial name Ypthima huebneri. The color appearance is very interesting, which is a combination of brown with distinctive ring-like circles on the wings. This pattern also reminds us of a peacock's tail.

Then there is a small dragonfly type of damselflies which in Indonesia is known as the needle dragonfly. I don't know for sure how the correlation is so that the needle is associated with this dragonfly. It's just that maybe because of the very small size of this dragonfly and the tail is like a needle shape. The damselfly dragonflies that I share are dragonflies in the Coenagrionidae family.
