Macro Photography - 3 species of grasshoppers

Hello everyone.. This is my first contribution to this community. I am a macrophotography amateur who likes to hunt for macro objects in forests, bushes and other areas of nature that present some macro objects such as insects, spiders, mushrooms & also beautiful wildflowers.

And in this post I want to share some macro photos with insect objects, or to be precise, some species of grasshoppers that I took pictures yesterday in the bushes. Grasshoppers are herbivorous insect species that live in bushy areas with fresh grass as their main food.

Therefore if an area is no longer available with sufficient grass accompanied by a high population of locusts, it is not uncommon for locusts to actually damage some cultivated plants which cause losses to farmers. But the presence of locusts in my own area doesn't bother the farmers, and that means the locust population isn't too many.

Grasshoppers themselves have quite a number of species scattered in various parts of the world. And today I share 3 of them. The first is the Rufous grasshopper grasshopper, this grasshopper has a dark brown color and what I found is a grasshopper that is still young or still a baby grasshopper.

The second is the baby grasshopper Valanga nigricornis, this grasshopper is relatively common in Indonesia. Even children in rural areas often hunt them to be used as snacks. Grasshoppers are one of the insects that can be eaten, apart from its delicious taste it also has good nutritional content such as protein and calcium found in a grasshopper.

And the last is the Acrida cinerea grasshopper, this grasshopper has two colors. Some are brown, some are exactly like the color of the leaf, like some of the photos I share below.
