Insect Photography - Moths and Butterflies

Hello photography lovers wherever you are, I hope we are all always in good health and all our affairs are expedited. On this occasion I again want to share some insect photography that I took a few days ago while in the forest. There are three different species that I will present in this post, there is one species of moth and 2 species of butterfly, each of which has its own beauty and uniqueness.

The first is a species of moth which is very small in size, this moth with a yellow color, although it is small in size, has its own uniqueness. And its uniqueness lies in its unique body shape, even because of its uniqueness this moth is nicknamed "rose plume moth". I agree with that nickname, because besides being beautiful this moth also has small thorns located on the back of its wings.

After the beautiful little moth above, then there is the skipper butterfly species which is no less interesting. The skipper butterfly that I mean is named Latin Pelopidas mathias from the Hesperiidae family. In addition, this butterfly also has many nicknames such as "Dark small-branded swift" or "lesser millet skipper".

Apart from this nickname, the characteristic feature of this skipper butterfly is that it has a dominant color of brown. Then this butterfly is very agile, and when we want to take a picture of it, it may take several tries before we can just capture the photo.

And finally is the species of nymphalid butterfly which has the scientific name Peacock pansy. This beautiful medium-sized butterfly has a yellow or slightly orange color. And it has a pattern on its wings that makes this butterfly look even more attractive. I found this butterfly in the forest when she was sunbathing and standing on a fern leaf.
