FungiFriday - Two beautiful Polypore mushrooms
This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
While looking for mushrooms some time ago in several locations I managed to find some beautiful variants of mushrooms, but I prefer to share two types of mushrooms on #FungiFriday today. Because these two types of mushrooms are quite beautiful and interesting to me. Of course this is because of the shape, texture and color of these two mushrooms.
The first mushroom is part of the Amauroderma fungus, a genus of polypore fungi in the Ganodermataceae family. In my opinion, the shape, texture and color of this mushroom are so beautiful, and I found it growing on weathered branches in the forest.
Then the second is also part of the polypore fungus, namely the mushroom Pycnoporus cinnabarinus or also known as "cinnabar polypore". This mushroom has a beautiful and bright color. In addition, this mushroom is also able to survive in the hot season and is also of course a mushroom that cannot be eaten.
