FungiFriday - Three types of beautiful mushrooms for this Friday's issue
This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
Today is Friday, May 5 2023 and as usual every Friday mushroom hunters & lovers from all corners of the world share their mushroom findings in this #FungiFriday community. Not wanting to be left out, I've also prepared three types of mushrooms for me to share today. I found these three mushrooms at different locations and times a few days ago.
First, there is a yellow fungus that seems to be part of the Gymnopilus penetrans fungus, a fungus that is also known as the Common Rustgill, which is a genus of Gymnopilus mushrooms that often grow on rotting logs. And I found this fungus growing on rotten coconut trunks.
Then there is a beautiful mushroom with a brownish white color that seems to be part of the Polyporus brumalis mushroom, this mushroom I found growing on a dead tree branch on the edge of a small river.
And lastly I believe that the mushroom is Collybia mushroom, this mushroom I found not far from the location where I found the mushroom above. This mushroom is a fungus that does not last long, so if it is not in a shady and damp location it is less likely for this mushroom to grow.
Twigs and weathered wood that is under trees on the banks of small rivers can allow mushrooms to continue to grow throughout the year because the location is shady and occasionally moistened by overflowing river water to produce branches and weathered wood is often wet and continues to be in humid conditions.

The three mushrooms you shared are very beautiful, and I really like the look of the black background, it's serene
