FungiFriday - Laccaria & Coprinellus domesticus mushrooms

Today is Friday 12 May 2023. It seems that the dry season is not over yet, even earlier the temperature reached 35°C during the day. Fortunately, a few days ago it had rained for several days in a row even though the rain wasn't too heavy. So I had the opportunity to hunt for mushrooms even though I didn't manage to save a lot of mushroom stock photos but I think that's enough for the next few issues of #FungiFriday.

And on today's occasion I would like to share two types of mushrooms that I found in two different locations. The first mushroom in my opinion is the genus Laccaria mushroom, this mushroom I found growing on the edge of the trench.

There are two Laccaria mushrooms that I found growing there, the first one I photographed from below so the gills of these mushrooms are a little more visible. Meanwhile, several other shots are from above. So that makes the mushroom umbrella more visible.

These two mushrooms from the genus Laccaria are more or less the same size and shape, only slightly different in color. This can happen because the two mushrooms have different ages so that one looks like it has fully bloomed and the other one is not fully mature.

Then there is the Coprinellus domesticus mushroom, a mushroom also known as the “firerug inkcap” which comes from the Psathyrellaceae family. As for this mushroom, I found it growing on rotten wood and rotten areca nut fronds.
